The Gujarat government has reduced the syllabus of Std. 9 to Std. 12 under the Board of Secondary Education by 30%. The government has decided to reduce the curriculum, giving partial relief to students due to the global epidemic of corona. Notably, the study is running online so far as students in the state are currently unable to go to school due to corona. Not only will students be taught the entire course in the current online education but the board paper will be asked only 70% of the course.
Corona period will now be modified in the standard 9 to 12 exam system. Examination will now have 30% objective questions and 70% descriptive questions. 50% objective questions will remain unchanged in standard 12 science stream. And the general option will be given in the descriptive questions. The decision has been decided for students to remain stress-free. The details of the question paper structure will be announced in short times.
The study rule will apply for one year only
The state government has reduced the curriculum of students in Gujarat by 30 per cent for one year. Due to the current corona condition, this rule will only apply for one year. Not only that, standard 10 and 12 students will be able to take stress free exams. However, the Gujarat government has not yet taken a decision on when the schools will but according to the Centre's SOP, a decision may be taken to start the school after Diwali.

A decision that relieves students
