Here are 51 Shakti Peeths, know where it is and why?

       The story is that Sati, a form of Shakti, married Shivaji, but Sati's father Daksha was not happy because of this marriage. Then Dakshe performed a yajna, inviting all the deities except Sati. Sati went without an invitation. Sati could not bear to say insulting things about Dakshe Shivaji and devoted herself to the fire of Yajna. Sad Shiva lifted Sati's body and started the dance of destruction. To stop it, Vishnu used Sudarshan Chakra to dismember Sati's body.
