Order for disposal of non-functioning computers of computer labs allotted during the year 2011-12 in government primary schools under Sarva Shikshan Abhiyan
Computer education will be imparted to children in government high and plus two schools. Just like private schools. The state government has given its approval on the syllabus prepared for it. This syllabus has been prepared subject-wise only on the basis of computer education implemented in CBSE schools.
In these schools, computer education will be imparted to children from class six to twelve under the ICT scheme implemented under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.
The state government had constituted a committee to prepare syllabus, on the recommendation of which the approval of the State Executive Committee of the Jharkhand Education Project Council was approved. In syllabus, apart from theoretical subjects, information like life skills like use of mobile apps, payment of railway and air tickets, online fees, electricity bills etc., procedures for making various types of online certificates will also be given.

Schools with more than 250 schools benefit
The course will be run in 1,814 schools in collaboration with the center, while an additional 351 schools with more than 250 children will be run by the district administration from CSR or District Mineral Fund. It has also been decided that 30 additional computer sets will be provided by the district administration from the above items in schools where there are more than 500 students. It was also decided that if a student wants to learn computer for an additional two hours during the school term, it will be ensured in coordination with the implementing agency.
