Bharat Biotech's 'self-sufficient' vaccine to be stored in confidential room, preparations begin in Sola Civil.

The vaccine, developed by Bharat Biotech, has reached Sola Civil Hospital. 



 The vaccine is kept in a special room set up at Sola Civil Hospital. The trial of the vaccine will start from the last day. The vaccine will be kept at a fixed temperature subject to the ICMR guideline. The vaccine will be preserved for 1 week. The vaccine will be adopted for trial after completion of the prescribed procedure.

 It is planned to give corona vaccine to about 1000 volunteers hereThe vaccine will be stored inside cold storage

The Ethical and Scientific Committee has approved the trial of Bharat Biotech's 'Self-Reliance'. Separate storage arrangements have been made to maintain the cold chain of this vaccine. The temperature will be set in such a way that the vaccine is stored in cold storage at 2 to 8 degrees. The committee will meet for two days and then the volunteer will be given a dose of the vaccine for trial.



Shotswill be given to 1000 volunteers, one hour observation will be done

1000 volunteers are on standby for testing of corona vaccine at Sola Civil Hospital. Each volunteer will be kept under observation for one hour after being vaccinated. One thousand volunteers have been pre-determined for the third phase of the vaccine trial. Only healthy people will be vaccinated. After an hour of observation they will be let go. The effects of the regular vaccine will then be monitored by a team from Sola Civil.




Formation of a committee for supervision of co-vaccine

A meeting was held in Sola Civil a few days ago regarding co-vaccine. In which Ethical Committee and Scientific Committee have been formed. Which will process the storage and receipt of the vaccine. As well as who will carry out the process until the volunteer is vaccinated. All supervision of co-vaccine will be done by this committee, which has received approval. Currently Sola Civil has started the process of how to store the vaccine.

Vaccine trials will resume in the state

Testing of the third phase of corona vaccine, which has been postponed due to increasing cases of corona infection in Gujarat, will now start anytime after the middle of this week. Earlier, the test was scheduled to start from last Tuesday, but due to an increase in cases of coronary heart disease in Gujarat, hospitals were overcrowded and the test was not conducted, state government sources said.


The effect of covexin is 70 percent

Developed by the Government of India, Bharat Biotech, this indigenous vaccine is said to be 70 per cent effective, with very good results. In states other than Gujarat, testing of the third phase of the vaccine began last week. According to experts, after the first dose of the vaccine is given to the volunteers, the results are tested based on their blood tests and other tests. Health testing is done. If no adverse results are obtained in the meantime, the Central Government will certify it and allow its widespread use. Union Health Minister Harshvardhan said the vaccine would be available in March 2021.
