It is necessary because in the present environment of stress we have to not only keep our children busy but also to maintain continuity of their learning in their new classes. In this context, NCERT has developed an Alternative Academic Calendar for all the stages of school education."The state education department recently announced that all schools in Gujarat will follow centralized assessment for sessional, annual, and periodic exams across all grades from 3-12 that will be conducted by GSHSEB and GCERT. The Diwali vacation will be from November 12 to December 2. The second academic session will begin on December 3.Schools are to complete the course curriculum by March 14, 2021, following which exams will be held from March 15. The evaluation of exam papers is to be completed by March 31. The 2021-22 academic year is to begin from April 1, 2021.
